670 6th Avenue

Located at the southeast corner of Sixth Avenue and West 21st Street in Manhattan’s Flatiron District , 670 Sixth Avenue has a rich architectural and cultural history. Originally built as two row houses in 1850’s, the structures were converted for commercial use in the 1880s. The Glaziers Union later established its headquarters there, adding a new story in the 1960s and transforming the façade with a modern steel-and-glass design. The interior was redesigned to include an auditorium and meeting rooms. Now part of the Ladies’ Mile Historic District, the property embodies over a century of architectural evolution in one of New York’s most storied neighborhoods.
