Gramercy Park Hotel

RFR, in partnership with hotelier Ian Schrager, reimagined the Gramercy Park Hotel as a defining downtown luxury destination through a comprehensive redevelopment completed in 2006. Led by artist Julian Schnabel, the project transformed the historic property into a richly layered, art-driven environment—blurring the line between hospitality and cultural institution.
